Susie Lemieux’s life changed forever in November of 2014. That’s when her husband was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.
She left her job and became his full time caregiver. He lived 11 months. And it was only 3 months after the doctors declared him “cancer free” that he died.
In deep grief, Susie struggled through. The memories of her husband withering away before her eyes were still vivid. Five months later she started experiencing symptoms that made her decide to see a doctor. To stop her worrying, her doctor indulged her and ordered a CAT scan.
That’s when they found that she, too, had pancreatic cancer.
Putting together a medical team and moving to stay with her daughter in California, Susie worked hard to “wage hope” during this difficult time. She followed her doctor’s recommendations for chemotherapy and radiation.
But it wasn’t until she was introduced to The Truth About Cancer that she uncovered a wealth of knowledge and empowerment she could use to get healthy again. She started eating all organic plant-based foods and created her own healing protocol based on what she learned from TTAC.
