Cancer Crackdown is a not for profit 501(c)(3) organization that started in 2012 with the passion of Tara Mann to help cancer fighters navigate through the many resources and natural options available. She was so moved by her research and discoveries of natural and gentler therapies for cancer that she left her pharmaceutical career of ten years to work full time assisting cancer fighters along with her husband and Cancer Crackdown’s President, Steve Mann. They are beginning their third year as an organization and have an operational plan to increase the number of fighters they are able to assist with free services and financial support by 300% in 2015.
- Cancer Crackdown started as a small group on Facebook to connect cancer fighters and caregivers; the group continues to be a place for fighters to get support and information. We have a large presence on Facebook with two pages, two support groups and a grief support group. We also have outreach via Twitter, Pinterest, and Linked In.

Our Mission
Our mission is to be the trusted source of knowledge regarding integrative and natural therapies to defeat cancer and remain cancer free. We partner with fighters and survivors by supporting and navigating them through their battle. Together, we develop a unique plan that is specific to each individual and instills in them a fearless approach to winning the battle.
What we are you doing to make an impact
- Fighting Together Program
- We are currently closely assisting 20 cancer fighters in our Fighting Together Program, they are mostly late stage fighters and are battling: stomach, lung, breast, pancreatic, kidney, bladder, throat cancer and leukemia. They are located throughout the United States and we are now working with two fighters outside the US. We are assisting many of these fighters financially in addition to free, extensive services.
- Cancer Crackdown Store
- Our web store provides assistance for many fighters that are in need of financial support through discounts for supplements. We continue to add products and distributor relationships to meet the needs of those we are assisting.
- Outreach
- We provide daily outreach and education through social media, primarily Facebook pages, groups and directly support cancer fighters via Facebook.
- Local Services
- The Clean Water For Cancer Service for local fighters provides them with free structured/ionized water. We also assist local fighters one day per week preparing fresh juices.
