He was running in the New York City Marathon when his pocket buzzed. He had his cell phone with him because he and his wife had a new baby boy and he needed to be available. Little did he know what was coming.
It was a message from his brother. Daryl’s father, Donald, had driven off the road at 70 miles per hour, unconscious. Luckily, his mother was in the passenger seat and had the quick wits to save them. The cause? Undiagnosed stomach cancer.
From that terrifying moment, their rocky journey began. Surgery, chemo, radiation. They did it all. But the cancer came back in Donald’s lungs. The doctors gave up. That’s when Daryl’s mother started finding out the truth about cancer from TTAC’s Global Quest docu-series. Ty, first of all, bless you for what you are doing to bring awareness to all of us.
I have a simple question with possibly a complicated answer but here it goes!!
I am so confused as to what to believe our bodies need to help cure a disease that has taken over our body. Half of the survivor stories are from eating raw plant based diets to keep their bodies alkaline and cured from that diet, and the other half are success stories on getting on a Keto diet, feed your mitochondria and they have been healed!!! They are both extremely different diets, I know that a simple answer would be, that all of us are wired differently, so we all need different ways to heal, but my argument to that, that we are all humans with the same body parts and fueled the same way, my question is, in your humble opinion, being around all this research for years now, how would you approach it if you God forbid were struck with cancer? I know that is a tough question, because a lot of variables would come into play, like, what kind of cancer, what stage, but I’m sure from your gut feeling, and all the knowledge and research you have under your belt, if you were diagnosed, what path would you likely take,? and would truly like to know your thoughts on that answer!! I really need someone to talk to….I have to go in to talk to the oncologist tomorrow 8/8/18 @ 9:00am eastern time…very nervous, I have the 20 questions, but this is all new to me…don’t want chemo….etc. biopsy of a stomach ulcer showed cancer cells… need professional help with direction. I’m a single mom with 3 children, has been a great struggle for all since the divorce. Don’t want to put anything else on my children. I haven’t read any success stories of stomach cancer patients who didn’t use surgery, chemo or radiation. Can someone help me with direction on this…it would be greatly appreciated.
