Susan Smith was diagnosed with stage I/II breast cancer in 2013. Just as any person would, she succumbed to a state of fear, but she ultimately snapped out of it and had a game plan. Changes need to be made. Big changes need to be made, and her family was ready to jump on board with her and make those life-saving changes with her.
They started out by making the most important decision – to do chemotherapy or to not do chemotherapy. They correctly chose to not go with chemotherapy and surgery. Instead, she and her husband Robert sought out integrative doctors and went through a myriad of tests to determine her next steps. She, her husband, and son all went gluten-free and became vegans in support of her dietary changes that needed to be made to help boost her immune system. They also told her to keep her lymphatic system healthy and active by rebounding.
