Battle Against Censorship: Our Personal Struggle to Save Lives and Share the Truth

We have always believed in the power of knowledge and open dialogue. That’s why we’ve dedicated our lives to sharing natural, alternative health information with the world. That life-saving information has been largely disseminated online. However, since the coronavirus outbreak, our social media accounts have been systematically shut down, shadow-banned, and targeted for “spreading misinformation.” 

Here’s the timeline of targeted attacks, all based on the idea that we were spreading “misinformation”:

• On March 25, 2021, Instagram took down our TTAV account
• On April 1, 2021, Twitter suspended all five of our Twitter channels
• On May 17, 2021, YouTube suspended TTAV our channel
• On July 21, 2021, without warning, YouTube deplatformed our TTAC channel (this was the same day Biden blamed the “Disinformation Dozen” for killing people)
• On October 21, 2021, Instagram took down our personal account (this was during TTAC LIVE! when we had tens of thousands of followers watching the live stream)
• On November 9, 2021, Vimeo took down our TTAC channel (this was just as we were preparing to launch Quest for the Cures [Final Chapter]
• On May 13, 2022, Vimeo suspended our TTAV channel while we were in the middle of airing a docu-series
• In May 2022, Google removed the docu-series “Propaganda Exposed” from a user’s private G-drive

Despite our claims eventually being verified by authoritative bodies such as the CDC, WHO, and the White House, we continue to face relentless censorship. We have decided to share our personal story and detail the attacks on our online presence, as we firmly believe that the world needs to know about the devastating consequences of censorship on public health.

After losing 7 family members to “conventional” cancer treatments, we knew that God was calling us to be truth warriorsWhat started with a book and a docu-series has grown into a global movement to expose the corruption of Big Pharma and share life-saving information that has been purposefully suppressed. And while writing books and producing films continues to be a big part of what we do, social media has been far and away the most effective way for us to spread our message to the world. 

We started by creating our Truth About Cancer (TTAC) Instagram account and then the Truth About Vaccines (TTAV) account. We also set up a personal Instagram account, Ty Charlene Bollinger. To our dismay, Instagram began shadow-banning our TTAC account, lopping off as many followers as we gained. Despite the challenges, we remained committed to providing valuable content and refrained from posting anything controversial.

Unfortunately, on March 25, 2021, Instagram took down our TTAV account without any warning. The deplatforming continued when Instagram removed our personal account, Ty Charlene Bollinger, on October 21, 2021, which had amassed more than 29,000 followers. This removal coincided with the first day of our four-day TTAC Live Event, attended by thousands of people both in-person and online.

Refusing to be silenced, we created another personal account, but it too was taken down soon after. This pattern of censorship extended to our Facebook accounts. Our Cancer Truth, TTAC Film Page, TTAV docu-series page, and personal Facebook page have all been heavily shadow-banned since their inception. Among other restrictions, Facebook has made it impossible for us to pin and share our posts to our stories.

In March 2021, Facebook started suspending and disciplining our personal page, beginning with a 3-day suspension after Charlene posted, “Have you had enough of the fake pandemic yet?” This led to further suspensions and restrictions.

On June 3, 2021, Facebook removed a post that said “Live Now:” with a link to Episode 1 of our docu-series, “Quest for the Cures [FINAL CHAPTER],” which had been posted on April 21, 2021.

Our Twitter channels have also been targeted. On April 1, 2021, Twitter suspended all five of our channels—CancerTruth, Ty & Charlene Bollinger, TTAC Official, TTAVOfficial, and UMFSP—with tens of thousands of followers on each channel. This occurred following a campaign by the Center for Countering Digital Hate (CCDH), which included us in a list of individuals they called the “Disinformation Dozen.” The CCDH pushed this narrative on Twitter and other social media platforms, as well as big media outlets, leading to a barrage of attacks on our accounts.

Our YouTube presence suffered as well. On May 17, 2021, YouTube suspended our TTAV channel, which had more than 69,000 subscribers and millions of views. Then, on July 21, 2021, without any warning, YouTube deplatformed our TTAC channel, which boasted over 200,000 subscribers and over 40 million views. This happened on the same day President Biden announced that the “Disinformation Dozen” were responsible for spreading up to 75% of online social media “misinformation” about COVID-19 and blamed all of us for “killing people” with our words. Our hearts sank as we realized the extent to which our voices were being silenced.

In 2017, we started TTAC and TTAV channels on Vimeo. These channels were not public; rather, we used Vimeo as a streaming service to stream live events or embed videos into landing pages. However, in 2020, Vimeo sent a warning notice to everyone on the platform indicating it would remove information that runs contrary to the WHO’s information about vaccines.

The Vimeo censorship continued when they took down our TTAC channel on November 9, 2021, just as we were preparing to stream the final chapter of our TTAC docu-series. Then, on May 13, 2022, Vimeo suspended our TTAV channel during a TTAV film launch.

The suppression of our content has not been limited to social media platforms. Google removed our website from organic searches and replaced it with “debunkers,” drastically reducing traffic to our site. At one point, thetruthaboutcancer.com had close to 600,000 new visitors per month through Google searches. After being deplatformed from Google, our organic online traffic dropped to under 3,000 new visitors per month.

In May 2022, Google went even further, pulling our film “Propaganda Exposed” from a user’s private drive. This blatant invasion of privacy was a stark reminder of the extent to which powerful entities are willing to go to silence our message.

We cannot help but believe that the pharmaceutical industry’s financial interests are the driving force behind this censorship. Our message has the potential to cost them billions in revenue. As a result of this censorship, we firmly believe that people are dying without access to life-saving health information.

Through it all, we have learned that the fight for truth and transparency is not an easy one. We have faced obstacles, attacks, and setbacks, but our resolve has only grown stronger. Our commitment to providing life-saving information to those who need it has not wavered, and we refuse to be silenced.

Our ongoing battle against censorship has been a difficult and personal struggle. We have faced countless obstacles in our mission to save lives and share the truth, but we remain steadfast in our commitment.

Our journey has taught us the importance of persistence, courage, and unity in the fight for what we believe in. And while the road ahead may be uncertain, we will continue to stand strong against censorship and advocate for the right to share life-saving health information with the world.
