Video Transcript: What a Doctor Should Never Say to a Cancer Patient
Ty Bollinger: Bill, you mentioned fear. Can you talk about the role that fear plays in the cancer equation?
Bill Henderson: Oh, yeah. Well, what is important for people to understand about cancer is that it is a response to something that has happened to our bodies. One of the things, of course, is emotional upset, as you know. Emotions of all kinds affect our bodies in a way that is quite harmful, simply because one of the things it produces physically in our body is something called cortisol.
Cortisol is a hormone. When it’s produced it causes acidity in our body. So, in any kind of emotional upset, stress, whatever, it is producing acidity, which is conducive to cancer. Cancer loves an acid state in our body’s fluid. The other thing it does, of course, is weaken our immune system. So, any reaction like that, panic or fear, is causing an emotion that is harmful to our health.
Ty Bollinger: So, Bill, if you have an oncologist that tells his or her patient that “you’ve got terminal cancer, you’re going to be dead in six months.” I can see that creating a response that would be then more detrimental. The patient would be in worse shape then than before they had heard that diagnosis, because of the emotional reaction.
Bill Henderson: Yeah, it is very well-proven that not only does this program the brain literally to listen to this “god,” this doctor that we all worship from toddlerhood on as the person that has the answers when we are sick. And he has just given you a death sentence. Well, this programs your mind, this guy must be correct and your mind controls your body in major ways. The other thing, of course, that those kind of things cause is a continuing emotional problem, where the person literally is trying to live out the six months they’ve been given to live in, but they’re living in an atmosphere of fear.
It is extremely damaging to have those kind of death notices, I call them, the terminal notice that somehow you’re not going to survive. This is very, very vicious. It should be criminal, but it’s not, unfortunately. The doctors basically, as I understand it, with those kind of prognoses are trying to cover their behinds, basically, that is all.
I mean, if the person dies within two or three months and they’ve not anticipated it, they could by sued by the family. So, they give you a death notice. If you don’t die, well, they’re okay. If you do, they’ve covered themselves.
This is the reason my health mantra is “Never believe the prognosis!” Otherwise, the negative result is as sure as is the death of an Australia aborigine after having the bone pointed at him/her, despite all signs that there is no physical problem. Their death results from the ‘fear’ generated by the ‘belief’. So sad.
I know for a fact this is true. I saw with my own eyes the effect the bad news my sister received after most of her many traumatic visits to the hospital as a cancer patient, had on her physical and mental health…I actually told my friends they (doctors) might as well have shot her with a bullet because the effect on her was just as completely devastating.
How I hated the way she and the rest of my family put their trust in the medical profession…she gave herself up to them as a willing victim.
i was shot down in flames by relatives when I tried to point out the harmful effects of the sugary foods and bad fats she continued to eat, often provided by them (and the hospital/hospice). It makes me feel so sad and angry. I did get to tell her consultant to his face that I thought her treatment and death was medeival and barbaric. He was mildly surprised, being more accustomed to being thanked and fawned over after his unfortunate trusting patients die.
Thankyou for the good work you’re doing in encouraging us all to seek and spread the truth. I have so much admiration for all of your integrity, courage and intelligence.

You hit the nail on the head!
That’s exactly what the “Cancer surgeon” told me in September 2015.
His exact words were: “If you don’t have the operation (Wipple Procedure) now,
You’ll be dead in 7 months”.
And the reaction, my reaction, to it was an emotional shock. It was not the news of
having only a short time to live, it was more the fact of having Cancer. Up til then
I thought my way of living was pretty healthy and not of any disease causing nature.
So, the news of Cancer having made a home for itself in my body, was more devastating
than the word “Cancer” in itself.
Naturally, the news and the time frame given by the Surgeon, created panic within the
family circle, with the urgency advise of most members of the family, to have the
operation as quickly as possible. My reluctancy and decision not to have an operation
– in particular the Barberic Wipple Procedure – did not mean a thing. The surgeons
words had an overpowering effect on all.
Yes Bill, the fear factor instilled by the Surgeon/Doctors has (on top of the news of
the cancer) a devastating result on family unity and peace. Needless to say, that I’m
still fighting against family wishes and pressures.
There is a lot of fear within my family, mainly introduced by the senseless, irresponsible,
non-caring urgency explanations of the surgeon. Naturally my GP, not knowing any better,
supports his timeframe diagnosis as well.
On a more positive note however, I have commenced treatment with the Budwig protocol etc. against the “better knowledge” of everyone around me, and am determent to fight this monster.

I agree that the words of the doctor will instill instant fear in the patient. However, I disagree with this being the results of cortisol produced by fear. What about those of us who are cortisol deficient and need to replace it to live their lives? Do we worry more about the effects it has on us when it’s what is keeping us alive?
Often time, cortisol is low because of the stress factors. Cortisol levels running for long periods of time depleted it like chronic stress among other major life events; job loss, family member loss, divorce, illness etc… because lal of cortisol will be deplace by insulin when cortisol levels are too low… on a chronic level it is dangerous and increase toxicity in ther body and the difficulty for the liver to be efficient in eliminating the toxins. So how a doctor delivers and approach the patient about cancer is very real and damaging (creates added toxns in within the body).

I’ve witnessed a doctor delivering the news to a friend in the ER very matter factly and when she ( friend ) asked if she was going to die…his answer was very matter of fact; ” probably “. Turned his heels and left us stunned, bewildered, in shock. Heck, I felt it as if for me as mother of a, then, 11 years old.
She was a single mom of a 9 years old boy…

I regretted not opening my mouth, not complaining, not denouncing the lack of respect and privacy. She was never asked if it was ok to discuss personal medical information in front of me!(I was a friendly acquaintance because I took her son to weekly sports but hardly new her! I also was the only person who showed up to land a hand while family members didn’t bother. They also didn’t support her choice to choose her own treatment and pushed her into an hospice because they new a palliative care friend of family who could admit her. She was given 6 months. She left exactly in 6 months time…
That is absolutely heartbreaking. The bedside manner of a great deal of doctors leaves much to be desired. That being said, you are right, there seems to also seems to be a potential legal issue here. At the very least, your friends privacy was violated. We have all had that moment where we didn’t speak when we wish we had, shock will do that to you. We are so sorry for your loss, you and her family are in our prayers. Thank you for sharing.
