For the past several years, right before New Year’s Eve, we count down the most bizarre headlines for the year. The year 2022 was so weird and crazy that it was very difficult to limit the number to 22, but we did our best and here they are!
#22 | German Woman Shut Off Roommate’s Ventilator Because Noise “Irritated Her”
If an incident can be termed “bizarre” (as well as unnatural), a woman in Germany turned off the ventilator of her fellow patient/roommate because the machine’s noise annoyed her.
The police arrested her after she was accused of attempted manslaughter. She turned off the ventilator not once but twice despite having been told how important the ventilator was to the patient. Luckily her roommate survived after a few hours of struggling with breathing.
#21 | Elon Musk Sells $1 Million Worth of New Perfume (“Burnt Hair”)
In October, Elon Musk launched a perfume called “Burnt Hair” that he said sold 10,000 bottles to earn a million dollars in just a few hours. “With a name like mine, getting into the fragrance business was inevitable – why did I even fight it for so long!?” Musk asked on Twitter, where he now describes himself as a perfume salesman.
“The essence of repugnant desire” is the website description of his latest offering, which costs $100 a bottle and is set to start shipping in the first quarter of 2023.
#20 | Texas Woman Arrested After Allegedly Trying to Buy Walmart Shopper’s Baby for $500,000
We usually think we can purchase “things” at Walmart but a woman went beyond materialistic stuff when she want shopping for a baby! In the self-checkout lane at the Walmart store in Crockett, Texas, a 49-year-old woman tried purchasing a baby from a shopper near her by offering $500,000 dollars. According to a report, she not just offered money but also harassed the baby’s mother up to her car before she was reported and the police came to intervene.
#19 | Indian Man Hasn’t Put His Arm Down for 10 Years
There’s no stopping an individual when they have strong conviction — a man in India proved this as he went viral on Reddit for keeping his right arm up for a decade because it was a way to honor his god. The devout man said he doesn’t even notice that his hand is raised, anymore, even when he’s sleeping.
While it feels numb, he’s still able to do chores and tasks with his left hand. If you thought that was crazy, here’s the kicker—he’s planning to keep his arm up for the rest of his life!
#18 | Buddhist Temple Left Empty After All the Monks Busted for Doing Meth
There’s a certain humble serenity to the life of a Buddhist monk. You spend your days doing simple work, contemplating consciousness, quietly meditating… oh, and doing copious amounts of meth. Apparently, even pious monks aren’t beyond having earthly vices. A small, local temple in the Phetchabun province of north-central Thailand is now deserted. All of its monks have been kicked out because they got busted for doing meth. Urine samples from every last one of the monks — and the abbot — showed that they had expanded their minds with meth in addition to meditation. Call it “meth-itation.”

#17 | Florida Man Asks Cops to Test the Purity of His Meth
The best crime stories are generally those where the crook gives the cops a good challenge. But here’s a case that proves that the exact opposite can spin a good tale as well. Thomas Eugene Colucci, 42, got arrested on drug charges on March 10. The cops busted him after the Spring Hill, Florida, resident called them himself and asked them to test the meth he’d purchased. But the man does have a heart of, if not gold, then at least some kind of precious metal. You see, he suspected that the drugs he’d bought weren’t what the dealer claimed them to be. Concerned that the unknown substance could put other drug users in mortal danger, Colucci decided to inform the cops.
#16 | Cobra Bites Boy, Boy Bites Back — And Kills the Snake
Usually, when an animal bites a person, it’s not expecting to be bitten back. Otherwise, it probably wouldn’t have attacked in the first place. But an Indian boy recently managed to turn the tables on an attacking cobra. The venomous snake bit onto the boy — so he bit it back. Twice. And he won the tussle! By the end of it, the snake was dead. The boy was taken to a hospital for a check-up but there was no need for it. He didn’t suffer any harm from the snake bite. The animal hadn’t injected any venom during its attack.
#15 | Man Dances Atop Semi, Slams Into Bridge and Dies
Texas authorities say that a man jumped or climbed onto a moving 18-wheeler before starting to dance. It all went wrong when the semi, traveling south on the Eastex Freeway, passed underneath a bridge. The man was knocked off the 18-wheeler according to the Houston Police Department. He landed on the freeway below. The man could have been recording himself dancing on the trailer, authorities said. There is a video shared to Facebook that shows the man dancing on the semitrailer before his fatal accident.
#14 | Massachusetts Woman Unleashes Swarm of Bees on Deputies Serving Eviction Notice
A Massachusetts woman allegedly unleashed a swarm of bees on sheriff’s deputies who were trying to service an eviction notice. The October incident occurred when the Hampden County Sheriff’s Department was serving the notice and deputies were met with protesters outside the home in Longmeadow. Rorie S. Woods, who lives in Hadley, arrived in an SUV towing a trailer carrying beehives and put on a beekeeper’s suit to protect herself, authorities said. She started shaking the hives and broke the cover off one, causing hundreds of bees to swarm out and initially sting one deputy, according to the report.
#13 | Indian Couple Sues Son and Daughter-In-Law for $643,000 for Not Giving Them a Grandchild
After spending $257,000 to raise their son, arranging his marriage, financing the wedding, and paying for his honeymoon, Sanjeev and Sadhana Prasad are demanding a grandkid — or else. After six long years of waiting for grandkids, however, they decided they’d had enough — and sued their son and daughter-in-law for $643,000. Their lawsuit also claimed they spent $80,000 on a car for Sagar and paid for his honeymoon to Thailand. According to the BBC, the suit was filed on grounds of “mental harassment.” Driven by Indian customs, the elderly couple believes it is their son’s job to take care of them — which includes carrying on their lineage with a grandchild.
#12 | Kansas Police Raid Hospital Room of “Terminally ill” Patient for “Weed” Violation
A terminally-ill Kansas man’s hospital room was raided by cops because he used a weed vape and THC paste to ease the symptoms of the cancer that will kill him within weeks. On December 16th, Hays, Kansas police raided the hospital room of 69-year-old Greg Bretz, who is suffering from terminal cancer, after a hospital worker at Hays Medical Center caught him vaping marijuana. Bretz said he has been vaping, as well as eating THC paste with bread, to relieve symptoms of his condition, since being hospitalized roughly three weeks ago.
(THICK SARCASM) We are so thankful that the police are spending their time and taxpayer’s resources tracking down “hardened criminals” like Greg Bretz! Their mamas must be real, real proud of them!

#11 | Florida Man Found with Drugs After Getting Trapped in Port-a-potty
A Florida man found stuck inside a port-a-potty was arrested on drug charges after deputies found him screaming for help. Deputies with the Collier County Sheriff’s Office were called after reports of a suspicious person and someone shouting. When a deputy arrived, a man could be heard yelling loudly. As the deputy got closer, she could hear the screams and saw a foot sticking out of the bottom of the port-a-potty. The deputy was able to get the man out of the bathroom and identified him as 34-year-old James Gousse. Deputies said Gousse told them he had gotten his foot stuck in the door. Once the deputy opened the bathroom door they found a baggie with a powdery substance, which later tested positive for fentanyl, as well as a syringe. Gousse faces two drug charges.
#10 | Biden Calls Inflation “Great Asset” and Curses at Reporter
In January, Joe Biden called Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy a “stupid son of a bitch” after he asked Biden about soaring inflation. “Do you think inflation is a political liability?” Doocy asked Biden as the press was ushered out of an event in the White House East Room. “No, it’s a great asset — more inflation. What a stupid son of a bitch,” Biden sneered into a hot mic. Biden’s vulgar insult was cut from the White House video feed but was audible on video streamed by C-SPAN. Doocy’s question about inflation came after a Fox News poll released Sunday found that 85 percent of Americans are worried about inflation, which hit a 40-year high of 7% earlier this month.
#9 | Oscar Mayer Unveils Hot Dog Flavored Popsicle
In August, Oscar Mayer announced the release of the “Cold Dog,” a hot dog flavored popsicle. The polarizing item is part of the company’s “Stupid or Genius” campaign, which had fans discuss on social media if odd ways to enjoy hot dogs were worth attempting. “After the overwhelming fan excitement for our beloved Cold Dog, it was a no-brainer to make this hot dog-inspired frozen pop a reality.” Anne Field, head of Oscar Mayer’s North American brand communications, said in a statement. “For more than 130 years, Oscar Mayer has been sparking smiles and bringing levity into everyday moments, and we are thrilled to bring fans another wonderfully odd way to enjoy our iconic wiener while beating the summer heat.” The popsicle also features a “mustard” swirl. #8 | “Where’s Jackie?” Biden Asks Dead Indiana Rep to Identify Herself in Crowd
One of Biden’s most atrocious verbal misfires in his long career of gaffes came when he sought out Indiana Rep. Jackie Walorski at a White House conference — eight weeks after her high-profile death. “Representative Jackie — are you here? Where’s Jackie?” the president asked from the podium, peering futilely about the room. “I think she was going to be here,” he added. Previously, Biden had released a lengthy statement mourning Walorski when she died in a horrific car crash. Biden, 79, is the oldest-ever president and his mental acuity seems to decrease daily…
#7 | New Zealand Wants to Tax Cow Burps & Farts
We kid you not, folks, New Zealand hopes to implement a “burp tax” and “fart tax” on cows and sheep. In a bizarre strategy to combat climate change, New Zealand’s government wants to tax farmers for the methane emitted by their livestock. Yes, that would mean a tax on cow burps and flatulence. Advocates for this plan insist this move is necessary given sheep and cattle outnumber their human population. According to Tomi Lahren, “I’m sure AOC as well as the entire state of California are inspired and drafting a similar plan as we speak. This kind of thing is, after all, a Democrats dream: tax the blue collar and rural workers just trying to make a living all to appease virtue signaling politicians and celebrities who fly around in private jets and charter yachts on a whim.” We used to live in New Zealand, and the people are lovely, but the government is totally wacked! This New Zealand tax plan gives a whole now meaning to the term “laughing stock.” Not even animals are safe from the climate change zealots!
#6 | Biden’s “Imaginary” Civil Rights Arrest
Biden’s false claims of his past civil rights activism were repeatedly debunked during the 2020 presidential campaign — but he’s kept up the malarkey. During January at a speech in Georgia, Biden stated: “I did not walk in the shoes of generations of students who walked these grounds, but I walked other grounds. Cause I’m so damn old I was there as well…You think I’m kidding, man. It seems like yesterday the first time I got arrested.” However, his 2007 autobiography “Promises to Keep” describes no such arrests. As far back as 1987, Biden has had to publicly admit that his repeated tales of youthful protest are untrue. In 2020, Biden infamously claimed he “had the great honor of being arrested” in South Africa when he was “trying to get to see [Nelson Mandela] on Robben Island,” where Mandela was in prison until 1990. He said Mandela thanked him for it. Later, he admitted that it was untrue.
#5 | Gatorade “Fit” Commercial Features Morbidly Obese Woman
In May, Gatorade unleashed its “Fit” drink on the world, with a marketing campaign that can only be described as “bizarro.” Their slogan is “Make healthy real hydration part of your healthy routine.” Check out the screen-cap of the Tweet below. Using a morbidly obese woman as a representation of “fitness” borders on the absurd, but we are living in a crazy world, aren’t we?
Apparently, she loves Gatorade so much she drinks it by the gallons.
#4 | “Non-binary” Biden Nuke Official Caught Stealing Luggage (TWICE!)
A sticky-fingered Biden administration Energy Department official who was charged in the September theft of a woman’s suitcase from a Minneapolis airport has been accused of another luggage heist at a Las Vegas airport. Brinton was captured on security footage making off with a woman’s bag worth more than $3,670 on July 6, KLAS News reported. A surveillance snap from Harry Reid International Airport shows a stern-faced Brinton wearing the white T-shirt with the colorful symbol, a black backpack, and black jeans, rolling the suitcase in question through the airport. The distinctive tee — which Brinton sported in a selfie posted to Instagram that same day — led the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department to issue a warrant for Brinton’s arrest on grand larceny charges, according to a detective’s declaration.
#3 | Man Pretending to be a Woman “Gives Birth” During “Family Friendly Drag Queen Christmas” in Orlando
Imagine if exotic dancers left their strip clubs to stage a vulgar, sexually suggestive public performance at a local theater – for “all ages,” no less. Now imagine some adults actually taking their young children to see it.
Would you think that’s in any way acceptable? Fact is, you don’t have to concoct the scenario; the “Drag Queen Christmas” actually happened in Orlando and Dallas and Kansas City and 33 other cities in 18 different states over the past few weeks!
Despite warnings from the Ron DeSantis administration against allowing minors to attend sexualized Christmas-themed drag queen events in Florida, one Orlando LGBTQ+ performer was seen giving “birth” during a performance with children in the audience.
The exhibit occurred at the Drag Queen Christmas event in Orlando which was previously warned against allowing minors to attend.

The traveling show was bizarrely advertised for “all ages” but with the warning “adult content.” Try reconciling that. The lewdest performers include one who sings a song titled “T–s in a Box” while audience members spank him. At one point he reportedly asks a child, “Are you reaching for my [breasts]? Are you hungry?”
Michael Dillon, writer for The Lion, describes the debauchery: “Another performance, which included countless simulated sex acts, a sexualized children’s story with Santa Claus and sexually explicit videos playing in the background, was called “Screwdolph the Red Nippled Reindeer.” Yet another portion of the show treats the enthralled audience to men in “kink harnesses” grabbing their genitalia while simulating intercourse – as a drag queen speaks to a 9-year-old before addressing his mother.”
“Bizarre” is a gentle word for behavior like this. How about “perverted” or “demented?” Anyone who brings their child to this is morally decrepit beyond belief, if not perverted themselves.

#2 | Biological Male Wins NCAA Female Swimming Title
Lia Thomas, a biological male who “identifies” as a female (whatever that means), won the 2022 NCAA women’s swimming championship. The truth is that regardless of how Thomas might “self-identify,” he has the body of a man. This matters, because he is competing in a women’s sports league, and because there are profound biological differences between men and women. The New York Times reported that Thomas “left opponents far behind and put some collegiate records under new pressure.” Well, yeah. This is because Thomas is a man, and because Thomas’s opponents (two of whom were Olympians) are not. Thomas has not had sex-reassignment surgery.
This is not OK, folks! Can a college freshman (who “identifies” as an 8 year old) play little league baseball again? I’m sure he’d shatter all the little league baseball records, but it’s just not fair. In the words of Amber Athey (editor for The Spectator and a senior fellow at the Steamboat Institute): “His decision to continue to swim on the women’s team, despite his obvious biological advantage, is contemptible. His invasion of the women’s locker room is downright disturbing. It is OK to feel bad for people who suffer from gender dysphoria, but that shouldn’t render us incapable of criticizing their actions.”
Perhaps the most ludicrous element is that there is any debate about a male competing against females in an all-female sport. In the words of Phil Mushnick, writer for the New York Post:
“Would we debate the veracity of a crooked card game, a fixed ballgame, a rigged horse race, the cleanliness of any “sports” event in which the winner is determined as a matter of a conspicuous, undeniable and insurmountably unfair, thus unsporting, advantage? Yet to offer such a common sense-driven opinion is to risk being condemned as a backward-minded, far right-wing political miscreant — transphobic, homophobic, woefully intolerant and even a hate-monger, as if denying the right of Thomas to her pursuit of happiness. But name-calling has become the easy response and dismissal as opposed to engaging in thoughtful exchanges. And if Thomas destroys the fair-play rights of those young women she competes against — their pursuit of happiness through legitimate competitive achievement — so what? That’s not her problem, that’s theirs. As far as Thomas is concerned, they can go to hell. It’s not just the response of new-wave social engineers or even lunatics with no applicable sense of right from wrong, but even by the Biden White House, which has declared its unconditional support for transsexuals to do and be as they wish.”

#1 | Trans TikToker Meets with Biden, Promotes Genital Mutilation
You might not have heard the name Dylan Mulvaney, but your children probably have. Mulvaney is a man — a former Broadway star in “The Book of Mormon” — who less than a year ago decided that he was a woman. This 25-year-old social media influencer has 8.4 million followers on TikTok, and is currently documenting a transition to “girlhood.” On “Day 222 of being a girl”, Mulvaney interviewed Joe Biden. Yes, our “pretender-in-chief” Biden chose to listen to a TikTok video-maker who on “Day 74 of being a girl” dressed in tight, revealing shorts and announced that “women can have bulges and that’s okay.”
During the interview, Mulvaney asked Biden, “Do you think states should have the right to ban gender-affirming health care?” Biden answered the man dressed as a woman, “I don’t think any state or anybody should have the right (to restrict that). As a moral question and as a legal question, I just think it’s wrong.” How did we arrive at this point in American life? How did our country decline to the point that a geriatric nitwit pedophile can declare it morally wrong to prevent genital mutilation (aka “gender-affirming health care”) of young people in the name of anti-scientific “gender theory”?
In the words of Ben Shapiro: “For those who are unaware of the medical euphemisms currently in practice, “gender-affirming health care” amounts to a slate of “treatments” including socially transitioning minor children, calling them by new names and pretending that they are members of the opposite sex; pumping minors full of cross-sex hormones and/or puberty blockers, with unknown long-term effects; progressing toward surgeries ranging from phalloplasties (fake penises attached to females) and mastectomies (removal of breasts) to vaginoplasties (removal of the penis and testes and creation of a fake vagina for males) to facial reconstruction surgeries.”
Donald Trump Jr. said Biden’s interview with Mulvaney was a show of “the democrat party in a nutshell” and continued “In a country of approximately 350,000,000 people, a middle aged biological male who transitioned to female about a year ago is the person chosen to go to the Oval Office to talk with the President about being a girl…That’s who they think is the best fit.” You would think the “president” of the USA would have something better to do with his time than sit down with a man who believes he’s a prepubescent little girl in an attempt to promote his mental illness.
This is a disgustingly clear example of the tone deafness of this failure of a “president” whose policies are destroying the economy and culture and who thinks it’s “morally wrong” to stop the profit driven medical mafia from cutting breasts off 14 year old girls and castrating teenage boys before they are old enough to legally drink, get a tattoo, or vote.
But this shouldn’t be surprising, in light of the almost daily gaffes and blunders that Biden makes. Here’s 8 minutes worth, if you can stand it….

All these videos are quite difficult to watch. After viewing them, I’m convinced that the basic intelligence of Americans has taken a nose-dive down to an unbelievable level…and that includes Biden. I was not a fan of Trump when he was in office, but now I wonder if I made the correct choice when I voted in 2020. I’m still not a fan of Trump, but I’m disgusted with Biden and wish I had never voted AT ALL. Trump was well-known for lying, but I think Biden has him beat because he’s been in government much longer than Trump. I have my doubts about whether I will vote at all in 2024, but I guess a lot can happen between now and then. Thanks for illuminating the public with all these bizarre videos!

The issue of lying is not a distinguishing factor between them; however, the issues of policy and results do allow a distinction. Vote policy and results, not personality. You are implying that because she doesn’t look fit or is overweight, she can’t possibly be allowed to to be in a fitness advertisement or drink gatorade? That is like mocking someone who is overweight who is at the gym or drinks a sports drink after heavy exercise. We should be commending people who are active and trying to achieve fitness goals. Choosing this story for the list is what is bizarre.
Anne, you may yourself be cruel here by endorsing the efforts of someone cast as fitness- oriented because she drinks Gatorade. This support could possibly effect others to attempt to achieve the same goal in the same way. Maybe you haven’t thought of that? I think the commercial itself mocks and is actually QUITE CRUEL to people who believe they’re becoming “fit” if they drink something that has sugar as an ingredient ( second only to water!) , dextrose, ( a simple sugar made from corn, wheat —most likely GMO) as it’s 5th ingredient, Maltodextrin as it’s 7th, which is made into a powder form from rice, yet MORE corn and wheat or potato starch, highly heated and processed, and sucralose as it’s 11th ingredient which is yet more of a sugar sweetening taste, made from an artificially produced sweetener created by the chlorination of sucrose.
And if I can look up the ingredients of something like Gatorade online, then you and others can too, as well as this woman who uses it for her exercise routine to become “fit” . She may well be hurting rather than helping herself, and hurting others too, by ‘promoting’ their commercial to sell their product.
You’re supporting her in trying to achieve fitness goals with a product processed, high in starches, sugar and artificial sugars? This product, by it’s ingredients alone, may well insure she doesn’t achieve her hopeful goals. Also, to realize, is that losing weight is achieved by first detoxing and you can’t detox with a combination such ingredients as in Gatorade!
But you’re casting your support anyway, and that’s more important in your estimation than de-directing her ambitions to something that actually might have helped her had she studied nutrition just a little more seriously? People who really want to see this lady realize her goals, wouldn’t support her in this drink. I think the Bollinger’s understand this, as do I.
