Where would you be without your microwave oven? Aren’t they just a huge time-saver? You can cook a meal in seconds. Even frozen food can be defrosted and ready to eat in a matter of minutes.
But have you ever wondered… are microwaves safe? Are there any dangers to using them? How could there be any dangers? If there were, the government would have taken microwave ovens off the market, right? These are the questions we’re going to explore in this article.
Microwave Ovens Use Microwaves – a Form of EMF
As the name suggests, “microwave ovens” use microwaves. These microwaves, which are a form of electromagnetic field (EMF) generated by a magnetron, vibrate at a speed of 2.4 billion times per second. This causes the water molecules in the food to resonate at very high frequencies and generate heat.
Conventional heating of food is a different, much more gentler process altogether. Heat is transferred by convection from the outside to the inside.
Cooking with microwaves begins in the cells and molecules where water is present. This energy is transformed into frictional heat. These are called thermic effects. Added to this are athermic effects which are not currently measurable but are thought to deform the structures of molecules and have qualitative consequences.
Microwave Ovens Microwave Your Home
Few people realize that when you use a microwave oven, the microwaves do not stay within the confines of the oven.
Microwave ovens have to meet safety standards set by the FDA. These standards “limit the amount of microwaves that can leak from an oven throughout its lifetime to 5 milliwatts (mW) of microwave radiation per square centimeter at approximately 2 inches from the oven surface.” This might sound quite rigorous, but it’s not.
My tests with an EMF meter show that even brand new microwave ovens emit significant levels of microwave energy, otherwise known as radio frequency radiation.
What this means is that when you switch your microwave oven on these EMFs permeate into your home… traveling through walls, ceilings, and you. These EMFs, though being in the non-ionizing range of the EMF spectrum, are not negligible.
In May 2011 the World Health Organization officially classified this type of EMF exposure as a class 2B possible carcinogen.
Added to this, a microwave ovens’ cables and motor also give off high magnetic fields, often over 10 milligauss. Exposures of just 4 milligauss have been firmly linked to leukemia. Not surprisingly these magnetic fields have also been categorized as carcinogenic.
Over 70 Years of German and Russian Research Point to Microwave Dangers
Twenty years of Russian research, and German studies dating back to 1942 in Berlin, make a strong case against the safety of microwave cooking.
The Nazis are thought to have invented the first microwave ovens to provide mobile food support to their troops during their invasion of the Soviet Union in World War II. After the war the United States War Department was given the task of researching the safety of microwave ovens. But it’s the Russians who are credited with having performed the most thorough research.
After the war the Russians set about researching the biological effects of microwave ovens. This led to microwave ovens being banned in Russia in 1976. The ban was later lifted during Perestroika to promote free trade with the west.
Their findings led the Russian government to issue an international warning about possible biological and environmental damage associated with the use of microwave ovens and other similar frequency electronic devices such as cell phones. (Note: Do cellphones cause cancer? Find out here.)
Are Microwaves Safe? What the Research Tells Us
The research on microwave ovens reveals the following…
- Microwaving prepared meats to ensure sanitary ingestion was found to provoke the formation of
d-Nitrosodienthanolamines, a well-known carcinogen. - Microwaving milk and cereal grains was found to convert some of their amino acids into carcinogenic substances.
- Swiss clinical trials have found that microwaving food increases cholesterol levels. It was also found to decrease red and white blood cell counts while decreasing hemoglobin and producing radiolytic compounds.
- Thawing frozen fruits was found to convert their glucoside and galactoside containing fractions into carcinogens.
- Even very short exposure of raw, cooked, or frozen vegetables to microwaves was found to convert their plant alkaloids into carcinogens.
- Russian and Japanese studies have shown how food can lose nearly 60% to 90% of its food value when cooked or heated in a microwave oven. Significant portions of Vitamins B, C, E, and essential minerals have been found to be lost.
- Food cooked in a microwave oven with a little water can lose up to 97% of its beneficial antioxidants.
- Another issue with microwave ovens is that many people cook food in plastic and paper containers. Carcinogenic toxins can leach out of this packaging into your food. Studies have shown that chemicals such as polyethylene terpthalate (PET), benzene, toluene, and xylene can leach from the packaging of common microwavable foods such as pizzas, fries, and popcorn.
5 Tips to Break Free From Your Microwave Oven
In the light of the above I take a firm line with microwave ovens. I cleared my microwave oven out of my kitchen a long time ago.
Here’s how to survive without a microwave oven:
- Invest in a turbo oven or steamer instead. These are much healthier alternatives to microwaving.
- Plan your meals. Take your dinner out of the freezer that morning or the night before so you don’t end up having to speed-defrost food.
- Frozen soups and stews can be taken out the freezer an hour before mealtime and partially defrosted in a sink of water then when sufficiently thawed put in a pan to heat on the stove.
- If you do insist on keeping your microwave oven, don’t allow children, pregnant women, and people with low immunity in your kitchen (or in the adjacent rooms) when your microwave oven is on.
- Keep as far away as you can from your microwave oven when it is working. Your risk of EMF exposure will be reduced significantly.
Your Quality of Food = Your Quality of Life
There’s no doubt the food we eat affects our health. But already the foods we eat contain more toxins and are nutritionally poorer than they were only a few decades ago. If you use a microwave oven, not only are you diminishing the nutritional value of food which is already less nutritional than it was previously, you are also exposing yourself to potential harmful electromagnetic fields which are known carcinogens.
Are microwaves safe? The resounding answer is NO. Do yourself and your family a favor and remove them from your home and take steps to limit your exposure at work and other areas where they’re used.

I never use a microwave in my house and I am not intending to buy one either. I always warm up my work in my electric stove. I warm up meat, vegetables, and fish inside my electric oven and my soups and sauces on top of the stove.
You’re still being bombarded with continuous microwaves by the smart meter on your house, it is far worse than a microwave oven!
It’s about reducing toxicity and the easiest way is doing this with things within our control. We can also tackle the bigger issues but an easy and good first step is what WE can do personally.
If we eat real food there is absolutely no reason to have a microwave.
what is a smart meter? does every house have one?
New meters installed in your house by government decree to read electric, gas and water usage.
not really govt degree exactly, at least not is USA. The are initiatives that the utilities have taken. Utilities are heavily govt regulated but not exactly the same thing as govt. There are sometimes difficult but not impossible methods of having them removed and replaced with conventional ones. But one should not do that without testing for levels with a meter and determining them to be unsafe inside the home or in areas regularly occupied.
What So keep the oven and don’t worry be a sheep and submit ?
wassup superman
I do not have a microwave oven or an electric power company. Yup low EMF DC solar that forgoes the inverter and the standard controller. Panels AWAY from the house. Cooking, heating, fridge and hot water are powered by propane. I do not know why more people do not forgo electric [if they can’t opt out of the “dumb meter”] and microwaves. I also have NO RF emitting products in my house, including wifi or cellphones. It’s all bad. Saw an interview some time ago w/ Dr. Vickers of the Gearson Center and how he stated that their programs will not produce the desired outcome if people keep exposing themselves to these RF devices. So true, except most people would rather suffer and die of cancer than give up the gadgets. It’s a lot easier to give up sugar, which is more addictive than cocaine, than to give up the gadgets.
WiFi is microwaves, too. The oven is 2400MHz range. So is WiFi (plus the newer 5GHZ standard)
Cellphones and Smart Meters use a mesh network (IIRC), or cellphone network, in the similar ranges (2100MHz is one 3G band for example).
Living inside a faraday cage is healthier, no?
Bit of a pain to construct one…
But probably worth it – especially in urban environments these days!
That’s why I don’t have one of those either x
above is a diagram showing the wavelengths of different things, the closer they are together, the more dangerous. notice how light is more dangerous than microwaves.
There are certain stones that are supposed to reduce EMR. In particular, Shungite. I often wear a piece on a necklace. And a flat piece attached to my phone.

You say you don’t use microwaves but warm up your meat, vegetables, and fish inside your electric oven. Is that your oven/cooker you are speaking about or another electric appliance. The reason I’m asking is that after reading this article I’m thinking of getting rid of my microwave. I only use it to heat up my cook meals. I’ve tried my oven to re heat but find things tend to dry out like rice and my husband doesn’t like it. So looking for something apart from microwave to heat up my meals.
Roz
Have you tried adding a tablespoon of water and/or covering food while warming to prevent drying out ?
Boil rice when you need it and add your cold food to the rice. The residual heat from the rice will heat the added food and the cool food will stop cooking the rice.
Works the same for pasta.
Always, i wake up by 5am Malaysia time 2day, then meditate, drink plain warm water makes one feels stomach not hungry. Sugar, sweetie and cold water will incur to the brain a false signal of hungry. 12pm have a noon nap about 30 minutes between 11am ~ 1pm (after light lunch & walked 100 steps) and sleep before 10pm every day is good.
Do not sleep late but if it may happen, one must wake up by 5am same day also for recharge to reduce consequence of late sleep (late sleep is bad). Jogging continuously 30 minutes daylight equals to walking continuously 7 hours for sweating is good.
My son wants to keep the microwave oven. i don’t want it. Its my home. He lives with me. I am 85 and he is 56. What should I do?
Well,that’s a tough one…
Has he read this?
Isnt it your home? That should answer your question.
Mm hmm….while everyone else is saying “isn’t this year home?” The question is…is your son helping or contributing an certain amount to this home?
You have reached 85 and you are now worried about a microwave. Just keep doing what you are doing,it’s working for you.
Get rid of the microwave. Tell your son to get educated on the unhealthy things all around us.
Do you have financial arrangements? Does your son pay rent or board and room? Or do you have another agreement of compensation? Does it include use of kitchen equipment? If none apply, he can move elsewhere and take the microwave. You are 85 – that, in itself is an accomplishment!
I’ve always been worried about my microwave – after reading this I’m going to bin it! Wish I went with my gut feeling years ago and never bought one. Thanks for the info.
Thank you for this article. I have always been wary of microwave ovens, and have not owned one for many years now. My husband has said he would like one, so I hope after he reads this article he will change his mind.
Ow c’mon. With or without microwave ovens, we are being bombarded by electromagnetic waves evereryday of our lives. From power lines, from tv and radio stations, from cellphone companies, from the innocent WIFI and yes let us not forget the SUN. These are all part of modern life. The most dangerous carcinogens are in the food we eat, chemicals that are used to preserve and prolong shelf life, make food taste/look/smell better, etc.
I read the article and believe it. However how much nutrition is lost when using (infrared) heat sources such as.. fire, electricity, gas etc.
ranges
had an experiment in my son’s elementary school class. Two healthy plants from the same nursery. The one watered with microwaved water died. I threw my microwave into the recycling at the local recycling center for “dead” electronics.
Was the un-microwaved water heated by another method. Otherwise it is not a helpful comparison as un heated water is quite different from reheated water, which is why you should always use fresh water, heated only once for a decent cup-of-tea for instance,
I tried the experiment of using water that was microwaved and water that was boiled on the stove. (both cooled) then used to water the same kind of plant. There was no difference after several weeks!
What about induction units? I use an induction stove to cook on. Does that operate on the same basis? From my understanding it works by vibrating the molecules together in the pan to create frictional heat. Is there a concern using induction heat?
uh, no
what about infra red saunas?? I use one every day. I hope it is not silently damaging me.??
I would think the athermic effects would be indicitive of uneven heating, meaning if something possibly has bacteria that would be killed upon reaching a certain temperature, the athermic effect would allow for possible bacterial exposure. That’s why they invented the turntable. However it doesn’t completely solve the problem.
Roz, I use an electric oven range. I put my food inside the oven range, but I warm my food up at a lower temperature. I never warm up my rice, because I tend to eat it immediately after cooking it. My father bought a new microwave oven for his kitchen from the Internet, but he said that he will use it later.
Thank you ever I much for your response Silvia. I have an electric oven as well. I will have to try warning on a lower temperature and see if that’s any better. I cook in large quantities, so that after work it’s easier to just warm foot up rather then cooking every day.
Hmmmm…very interesting. So you “shield” yourself from the potentially harmful effects of what you believe is dangerous. Tell us…when you are at work. or when you’re out and about town…and sitting in the soup of all that EMF…cell phones, towers, hydro wires, etc etc. Or do you just stay at home and cocoon your life away….congratulations…you’re already dead!
The Puck Oven is Great! I use my Puck Oven everyday instead of a microwave and the food comes out much better too 🙂
Interesting part: microwaves can increase cholesterol and decrease white blood cell count, both of which showed up in my last blood work. i am not overweight and i am almost vegan. so i will stop using my microwave and see what happens at my next blood test.
How much is your life shortened for the minutes saved by using a microwave ?
No citations. Seems Legit. *Rolls Eyes*
Hi there,
Please refer to the sources and references tab that is below the article.
I’ve gotten along fine for decades without a microwave. I also chucked the wireless router, pay extra every month to the thieves at ComEd for an analog meter, and put my power lines deep underground. Doing what I can, I feel much, much better physically and mentally. It’s inconvenient, sure, but not nearly as inconvenient as chemo or death.
I rarely use a microwave but when I do, I always stand with a refrigerator or other metal surface between me and the microwave oven.
Can mI towage ovens blow up if left empty for a cple mins while still on
Just about every thing does some harm: water, the atmosphere, air we breathe, electricity radio, mobile and a million other things. WHAT ALL should we give up?
Yes. war certainly.,
Hi:
I fully agree that microwave ovens are dangerous and I ditched mine years ago. Thank you for this great info. Question: Are microwave ovens dangerous if they are not on? I have to stay somewhere next week and there’s a MW oven in the room, the bedroom. Is it safe as long as it isn’t on? If it’s still dangerous off I can make other arrangements. Thank you.
Hi, I like the article, but I lack sources of information. Can you publish them?
Hello, Klaudia!
We appreciate your feedback and your question. You will find the source and reference links at the end of the article.
Hope that helps!
Interesting information, however, I am 86 and have probably committed lots of sins against my body. I take only one med, (for Thyroid). I take extra vitamins daily. My attitude is good. I don’t worry since I know I will die of something, eventually. You all make me feel amazing!!!!!
I knew a guy whose sister died of a brain tumor located right behind her forehead, she used to always out her head against the door and watch her food cook, she died when she was 18, he was convinced it was from the microwave. It’s pretty wild to see three cell phones ring at the same time on a table around a kernel of corn pop it into popcorn, and to see a needle on a meter swing outside the door of a new microwave when it turns on, and to see the radiation symbol and warning inside the microwave itself. Radiation goes for hydrogen where into your food or you, or your food and then into you, could be a bad thing, little by little then people wonder why they’re sick. Remember Erin Broko.vich? Chrome.ium … So cr chromium is ‘good and essential,’ yet when it oxidyses with HCl in its 3rd and 4th etc stages and is bad for you but ok when it does that with the HCl acid in your stomach, now Europe says it is not an essential nutrient.

“Food cooked in a microwave oven with a little water can lose up to 97% of its beneficial antioxidants.” And conventional boiling it in water make it lose 82% of its beneficial antioxidants. The problem is the boiling water, not the microwave as the authors mention in the paper. Steaming it without water makes it lose only 12 %.
That clears up 1 mistake in this article, at least 11 more to go.
Please point out the other 11 mistakes as well… Clear the confusion please! I use microwave daily to heat water for my green tea and milk for my kids!
Do not do it. Microwaves are dead radiations that take away all live energy in foods. To children is worse.
Living in an apartment, it seems from the information of this article I’m surrounded by microwaves. Getting rid of mine I will but it is evident that it will not stop my exposure to microwaves over which I will have no control.
First of all, I can’t believe that in 2018, these microwaves myths still permeate, after all of them have been thoroughly debunked.
Second, don’t trust everything you read on the internet, especially from non-official government sources, and super especially with anything that emphasizes “the truth” about something.
Third of all, you sound like a Russian bot writing a supportive comment to add false verification to a myth.
You debunkes probably believe the FDA has your best interests in mind also…I heard years ago that Russia banned them. If you like radiating your food, that is your choice, but do you also believe GMO ‘s are harmless, or that Flouride helps prevent tooth decay? Or are you aware we are being posioned? No, maybe you work for Monsanto and you are just doing your “job”.Ask someone with Celiacs Disease how dangerous wheat, specifically gluten (GMO wheat etc) is. Maybe eating weed killer is OK with you? Hmmmm….research it yourself or wish you had later in life.
It is, by nature, radiation. Why take a chance? It isn’t that convenient. We know what it does to breast milk. Think about it folks.
This is like a Daily Mail article – full of claims, but no links to any actual research backing up the claims. If there was so much Russian research, you’d link to it. Quit lying.
Hi there,
All of our articles have sources! They can be found on the sources and references tab that is directly below the Article Summary.
The only research information is in reference to the phenolic study, which again says it is no contact with cooking water that reduces phenolic losses. The microwave oven radiation is the regulations for microwave leakage, and other 2 are non scholarly articles. No actual research support for danger using microwaves here.
Again, where are the actual legitimate references? I clicked all four items in the Article Summary expecting at least one of them would be one of the many studies referred to, and not one of them links to a journal article regarding any study? In fact one links directly to PLANDEMIC = nothing to do with microwaves at all! Screams BS. Please show correct referencing, and I’d expect to see peer reviewed journal articles. Just a citation list will do thanks, and I’ll find them myself.
Greetings and happy holidays.
Firstly, thank you for your insightful articles on microwaves. I am afraid this article sounds alarmist and it is only intended as a fear mongering tool with a hidden agenda.
What do you have to say about the findings made Harvard university medical school confirming no harm or danger on microwaving food in terms of nutrient degeneration and omission of harmful radiation, consideration t=Harvard to be a very respected and renowned institution on matters health. Kindly respond.
Regards,
Amos
Hi Amos,
Thanks for your feedback. We do not have more information about the article you mentioned. We do have a list of sources and references that you may look at. To find these please see the Sources and References tab that is directly below the article summary.
And by whom were these Harvard studies funded? In this age when money is God Almighty, I don’t trust studies unless researchers can provide clear evidence that funding came from neutral sources–and even then, what constitutes a “neutral source”? Moreover, colleges and universities (even the presumably more prestigious schools) are accepting huge donations from those who are extraordinarily rich from capitalism run amok.
Can you imagine a study coming out of a university providing bona fide evidence that microwave ovens and cell phones have deleterious effects on its users, these industries would go beserk because of lost profits. And don’t count on government agencies to protect you. If it’s your health or profits at stake, the latter comes first.
I like to play it safe–I don’t NEED a microwave and I don’t NEED a cell phone so I choose not to own the first but I have the second which I use only when I absolutely must and I never place it directly on or near my ear.
Can you imagine
Thank you very much for this article. It has been difficult to find research supporting my gut feeling that microwaves indeed cause health problems and reduce the nutritional value of our food. In response to another comment, I absolutely agree that the American Cancer Society and similar organizations DO NOT have our best interests in mind and only profit when we are sick! This is probably said too often, but they once told us cigarettes were healthy. Science is always progressing. Better safe than sorry.
What a great article. I have been cooking for 50 years and still every day from scratch. I have never had a microwave oven…what for? I have no idea why chefs would want to use them…just heat up water ? Or milk ? . But if I talk to friends or family about removing the ovens .I get ..nothing wrong with them or just old fashioned thinking.
A useless appliance takes up valuable space.
Thanks for sharing the micro-ovens should be shared with Cancer people…Nice informative blog!
Thanks Kaira! We share this with everyone who would like to learn from us. Please do also share this with your loved ones. 🙂
Wishing you and your family many blessings!
I have been telling my daughters not to heat up the baby’s milk for the longest time. I sent them this site. Thanks so much. I, too, use them, not to cook, but to heat. I now know better.
I thank you being being brave and steadfast enough to put it out there, in light of all the criticism. If people truly think the govt has our best interests at heart, well, that is, indeed, a shame!
Thank you, Lorraine! xo
Wishing you and your family good health and blessings always!

A New Microwave Oven Scare
What happens when a cell phone meets a microwave oven? It can be described as shock wave that jolts the human central nervous system (CNS) beyond anything previously imagined in our electronic age.
A long time ago there was serious concern about the electro- magnetic (EM) radiation created by a microwave oven and its effects on the human organism. Eventually we were assured by scientists and the manufacturers of such devices that they were safe and there was nothing to worry about. New testing tools for the biological effects of this radiation on humans casts doubt upon these assurances making it essential to take another look at microwave radiation.
A microwave oven has a high voltage capacitor that produces a powerful electrical charge that radiates very strong electromagnetic energy inside the oven even when the oven is not turned on. When you open a microwave oven door a blast of escaping radiation penetrates your body, through chest, heart, brain, spinal core and reproductive organs, and continues to do so until the door is closed.
The effect of this exposure can now be detected by simple biologically-sensitive tests that anybody can perform without the use of special equipment, except for the body’s hypersensitive neurological system.
Separate yourself from your cell phone.
Test 1: Before opening a microwave door stand in front of it and see how quickly you can speed-count to 30 a few times. Then open the door and check again. This is a simple brain-speed test of our inner voice, the voice we use for silent reading and thinking. It is the voice of the mind.
Anything that slows down the voice of the mind slows the speed and quality of all our cognitive skills, such as speech, singing, silent reading, thinking, writing. math calculating, memory, visual processing and a whole lot more.
If you experience a significant downturn in this testing you are sensitive to microwave radiation. It adversely affects the CNS creating a high degree of internal, mind-slowing stress. The next test is only for healthy adults.
Test 2: Carry a cell phone on yourself and repeat the before and after testing you did above.
Whatever negative effect you might have felt in the first test can be doubled or tripled when the EM radiation from a cell phone battery meets the radiation from a microwave oven. It is stunning. Worse yet, my research shows the negative effects can last for up to 30 minutes or more after exposure. Reading and math calculating are two skills that slow down a lot.
The first thing that comes to mind is that we should never carry a cell phone on us when using a microwave oven. This should be absolutely true for children! In schools children line up at the microwave to heat their lunch and many of them carry cell phones these days. A child’s CNS is much more delicate and easier to damage than is the case for adults.
As for me and my house, we always separate ourselves from our cell phones before using the microwave oven.
James Protsman, author of the book, The Breathing-Mind Connection.
This is nice article.
Can there be any covering dress which can reflect the microwave radiation from a person near

Hi, I am doing an assignment on whether microwaves are safe or not, found this site really helpful – and was wondering where you got the research (the dot points that start with this; “Microwaving prepared meats to ensure sanitary ingestion was found to provoke the formation of d-Nitrosodienthanolamines, a well-known carcinogen.”) from? Just so I can add in the study as a reference?
Thank you! 🙂
Hi Demi –
Thanks for your note. 🙂

Wishing you all the best on your assignment!
I have a TriField model 100XE my microwave running checks out at 5 highest, just plugged into wall reads at 2, when I unplug it reads 0. I’m am 78 yrs old and always been healthy, no vaccines, No doctor visits not even colds.
This past year a pacemaker, arthritis, breast and more problems. The last 5 yrs no energy, headaches and use my microwave several times a day. No more I am ditching it.
I believe the report, never use a cell phone.
Thanks for the article, I believe.
Thanks for all the info. We have two microwaves at homes all given as gifts. I won’t be using it anymore or maybe once in a while.
Wonderful decision, Virginia! 🙂
I assume that ones who don’t use microwaves, never eat at restaurants, or fast food places?!
There is not enough time, in our life, to avoid EVERYTHING that will “cause problems”.
Stay the right weight, exercise, get enough sleep. We have limited time on earth – just be sure you believe, and accept the Lord Jesus Christ, into your heart – then, when it’s “your turn”, you will know & have assurance of eternity with the one who LOVED YOU ENOUGH TO DIE FOR YOUR SINS! “ON Christ the SOLID rock I stand.
“ALL other ground is sinking sand”!
It’d help if this article would link to sources and studies to substantiate the claim that microwaves are bad for your health.
Has anyone ever been able to locate the original Russian research? It seems to have been well hidden.
Im more worried about the COVID 19 VIRUS right about now over the use of my microwave oven
Why? It has a 99.9% recovery rate, the inventor of the PCR test said they could be manipulated to produce 100% false positives or 100% false negatives, people who died in a car wreck but “tested positive” for Coronavirus still got logged as a Covid death, 95% of all supposed Coronavirus deaths had at least 2 preexisting conditions and almost all were very old. You should be more afraid of the Covid “vaccines” that have already killed tens of thousands ppl around the world and harmed hundreds of thousands. Do some real research. Your government is lying to you.
I hate waste so when I unplugged the microwave years ago I now use it as a bread box. My gauss reader shows ‘0’ on the gauge. I hope that means it’s behaving itself. The electric oven roars over the top readings even when not in use. Yikes! I’ll keep my distance when using the burners. I use the oven and dishwasher for storage of pots and pans and covers. Never used a cell phone and use speaker phone on my cordless when not in the charger base to keep it away from my brain..
Thanks to this article by the Bollingers some years ago, we got rid of our microwaves. We had one in the house and I had one at my business. BOTH went into the garbage. I now have a toaster oven in the store, and a convection oven upstairs. Thanks folks for this important information!! I printed this article and intend to keep it and show folks. Who would know the dangers unless we did our homework?
Just use your common sense.
Erm chat is this real? Can I no longer cook macking cheese in my micheal wave? Is it cooked? Am I cooked? will I be cooked??? I may have slight to severe sack cancer cause the micheal wave screen broke and me feel a glump…im scare.
I have just watched a medical doctor on tv who was asked if it is safe to use a microwave oven. All his answers he said that all that has been said in this argument is pure myth. I must add that I have used a microwave ever since they came out(early 1970’s). I hasten to add to that I cook full meals as well as reheating and cook more in it more than in my electric oven. I will be 80 next birthday and have no ailments at all. I feel grateful that I am so well for my age.
